Katie has served as KCare’s CEO since July 2020, after initially joining KCare in January 2020. She has led the team through a period of substantial growth and investment, expanding the KCare brand to include extendedReach, Exym, and Stabilify – its suite of child welfare software solutions.

Before joining KCare, Katie spent a decade working in the social impact and tech arenas. She began her career-launching projects in Haiti for clients like TOMS Shoes and the Inter-American Development Bank. Post-MBA, Katie went on to lead both business and technical teams at various tech startups (co-founding one). She has longstanding personal connections to the child welfare space and is deeply committed to helping customers improve outcomes for the children and families they serve.

Katie holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a B.S. in International Relations and French from Seton Hall University. She sits on the board of Fonkoze USA, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty across Haiti. Katie lives in Austin, TX, with her husband, Nick, and her dog, Max.
